BAM! Game App (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application (“App”).

1. Information We Collect

We only collect and process the minimum data necessary to provide our services:

In-App Purchases (via RevenueCat)

• Product identifiers, purchase receipts, subscription status
• Anonymous user identifier
• Device and platform information
• IP address and region (for fraud prevention and tax compliance)

App Settings (stored locally on your device)

• Premium status flag (e.g., whether you have an active subscription)
• First-run setup status
• Game settings

These are stored locally on your device using Capacitor Preferences. We do not access or transfer this data.

Content Requests (Wordlists via Supabase/CDN)

When the App fetches wordlists, your IP address may appear in web server logs.

No personal account or profile is created.

External Links and Sharing

If you open external links or use the system share function, this is handled by your operating system. We do not track or log these actions.

We do not collect names, email addresses, contact lists, location data, photos, or similar personal content.

We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

• To provide and manage in-app purchases (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – contract performance).
• To ensure security and proper functioning of our services through server logs (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest).
• To store your app preferences locally so the App works as intended (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

3. Sharing of Information

We may share limited data with the following third parties:

• RevenueCat, Inc. – to process and validate in-app purchases.
• Hosting/Database Providers (e.g., Supabase/CDN) – to deliver content (wordlists). Your IP address may appear in server logs.

These providers may transfer data to servers outside the EU/EEA. They implement safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your data.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.

4. Data Storage and Retention

• Local data: Remains on your device until you uninstall or reset the App.
• Purchase records: Retained by RevenueCat/payment processors for as long as required by law (e.g., tax and accounting obligations).
• Server logs: Retained for a limited period (usually up to 30 days) for security and troubleshooting.

You have the following rights under GDPR:

• Right to access your personal data
• Right to rectification or erasure
